Going Beyond "I Disagree"

http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/media/social-media-makes-you-more-sociable-study-says/19731950/

This article says that researchers claim that having Facebook, or other social websites, actually makes a person more social.  They state, "In fact, we believe there is sufficient evidence that social media afford opportunities for new expressions of friendship, intimacy and community."
This research claims that social networking websites help to bring people together in far different ways, making newer and deeper relationships.

To be honest, I don't care how much research there is.  This topic will always be an opinion question.  Naturally, everyone will relate this question with personal examples.  In general, everyone uses Facebook differently.  Some like posting pictures, others like updating their statuses frequently, some write notes, etc. The options are limitless.
Therefore, some will gain become more social after using this, and others won't.

However, in my opinion, I think Facebook goes out of its way to be counterproductive in making us more social.  But if you want to hear more about that, then I guess you should read my up-coming argumentative paper! :)
